IMPLEMENTASI PEMBELAJARAN KULIAH KERJA LAPANGAN DALAM MENINGKATKAN MINAT BELAJAR MAHASISWA PROGRAM STUDI PENDIDIKAN GEOGRAFI UNIVERSITAS NEGERI MALANG

Abstract


Teaching geography intrinsically learners develop the ability to recognize and understand natural phenomena in relation to spatial and territorial. When learning georafi sometimes students feel tired and lazy to learn the theory because it is considered a difficult and elusive to participate in Field Work Lecture (KKL). Field Work Lecture serves to apply theory in the classroom to the field that would affect the learning achievement and learning effectiveness. This study discusses the implementation of the Field Work Lecture at the University of Malang, especially in Geography Education to improve student interest in learning. The method used is a qualitative method. The subject of this research is the students who will do this work field II. Data analysis started with an interview to the subject of research on the implementation of Job Training for data field while interest in learning to use tabulation and then graphed. Based on interviews Implementation of job training lesson in geography education majors University of Malang consists of three stages of the stages of preparation, implementation and post-job training. Besides job training was also able to increase student interest in learning geography because of the research subjects studied only a few students were not interest in doing the evaluation.

Pengajaran geografi pada hakikatnya mengembangkan kemampuan peserta didik mengenali dan memahami gejala alam dalam kaitannya dengan keruangan dan kewilayahan. Saat pembelajaran georafi kadang mahasiswa merasa jenuh dan malas untuk mempelajari teori karena dianggap sukar dan sulit dipahami sehingga ikut dalam Kuliah Kerja Lapangan (KKL). Kuliah Kerja Lapangan berfungsi mengaplikasikan teori di dalam kelas dengan di lapangan sehingga akan berpengaruh pada prestasi belajar dan keefektifan pembelajaran. Penelitian ini membahas tentang implementasi Kuliah Kerja Lapangan di Universitas Negeri Malang, khususnya di Pendidikan Geografi dalam meningkatkan minat belajar mahasiswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif. Subjek dari penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa yang akan melakukan kuliah kerja lapangan II. Analisis data dimulai dengan wawancara kepada subjek penelitian tentang implementasi Kuliah Kerja lapangan, sedangkan untuk data minat belajar digunakan tabulasi kemudian digambarkan dalam grafik. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara, implementasi pembelajaran kuliah kerja lapangan di jurusan pendidikan Geografi Universitas Negeri Malang terdiri atas tiga tahapan, yakni tahapan persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan sesudah kuliah kerja lapangan. Selain itu, kuliah kerja lapangan juga mampu meningkatkan minat mahasiswa dalam belajar geografi dikarenakan dari subjek penelitian yang diteliti hanya sedikit mahasiswa yang tidak dapat mengerjakan evaluasi.
