Penerapan Model Kooperatif Teknik Team Games Tournament (TGT) dalam Pembelajaran Sains

Abstract


In an effort to improve the study of science, practitioners of science education apply various methods and approaches which match with the characteristics of the science subject. This study trialled a team-games-tournament (TGT) model to the teaching of science. The subjects of this study were 40 students of the third semester in 2006/07 academic year in Makassar State University. The results showed that TGT could increase the students’ achievement significantly. TGT also increased cognitive and affective abilities of students, both individually and in groups.
