Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Handep Pada Materi Pangkat Rasional di SMAN 3 Palangka Raya

Abstract


Absract: The purpose of the study is to analyse the impact of handep cooperative learning model to mastery of concepts and ability to solve mathematical problems. The research method used the classroom action research. Data were collected by observation and tests, and analyzed by tabulation, bar charts, and reduction. The results showed that students were able to (1) distinguish rational numbers and irrational numbers (90%), (2) define the rational and irrational numbers (90%), (3) find the characteristics of rational numbers and irrational numbers (86%), (4) define the root and not the root numbers (70%). There was a diverse pattern of student’s responses to identify the rational and irrational numbers.


Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian adalah mengkaji dampak pembelajaran dari model pembelajaran kooperatif handep terhadap penguasaan konsep dan kemampuan memecahkan masalah matematika. Metode penelitian menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas. Data dikumpulkan dengan observasi dan tes, serta dianalisis dengan tabulasi, diagram batang, dan reduksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa mampu (1) membedakan bilangan rasional dan bilangan irrasional (90%); (2) mendefinisikan bilangan rasional dan irrasional (90%); (3) menemukan ciri-ciri bilangan-bilangan rasional dan irrasional (86%); (4) mendefinisikan bilangan bentuk akar dan bukan bentuk akar (70%). Terdapat pola jawaban yang beragam dalam mengidentifikasi bilangan rasional dan irrasional.
