Abstract


This research aims to find the answer whether learning mathematics using open-ended problem approach increases students' problem solving ability. This research used experimental one group pretest-posttest design. The research subjects were one class of the second year students of SLTPN 1 Malang. The data analysis used t-test. The research concludes that the open-ended problem approach the students' ability in solving mathematic problems.
