Abstract


In 2004 Depdiknas launches a new curriculum to replace the 1994 Curriculum. This new curriculum is competency-based. This article attempts to describe that the teaching of Arts and Crafts can be designed following the competency-based curriculum. The description includes the basic competencies of the subject, the teaching materials, the use of contextual teaching and learning as the learning approach, and the evaluation strategy.
