Abstract


Arts education in high school has a wide coverage. It includes cognitive, affective, psychomotoric, perceptive, creative, appreciative, and evaluative aspect. One of the learning activities at school is appreciation. To appreciate correctly, students need appreciative programs and activities to develop appreciation ability, to support logic and creativity, to develop tolerance and aesthetic ability, and to grow mental and mind health. For these purposes, contextual teaching and learning needs to be used so that the learning materials can be absorbed optimally.
