Konflik dan Strategi Manajemennya di Satuan Pendidikan Dasar, Menengah, dan Tinggi

Abstract


This study was designed to explore human conflict, its causes, and its managerial strategies in educational management. The study involved leaders in elementary, secondary, and higher education. A qualitative approach was applied in this study. Data were collected by in-depth interviews, observations, and documentary techniques, and then analysed by componential and thematic analysis. The result revealed that conflict seemed to be an integral part of the practices of education. Human factor was a dominant factor affecting the conflict. In managing the conflict, the leaders of elementary education tended to take the same efforts and media, while the leaders of secondary and higher education tended to select strategies relevant to the type or causes of conflict and other considerations
