Pembelajaran Berbasis Proyek Dalam Menanamkan Karakter Kewirausahaan, Keterampilan Proses Sains, Dan Keterampilan Berpikir Tingkat Tinggi Mahasiswa

Abstract


Abstract: Project-based Learning in Instilling Entrepreneurial Character Traits, Science Process Skills, and High Order Thinking Skills. This research was aimed to look at the effectiveness of the application of project-based learning in instilling entrepreneurial character traits, science process skills, and high-order thinking skills in biology education students of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Ed- ucation UM Surabaya. The research was done by using pre-experimental design of oneshot case study on biochemistry lecture of food and nutrition in the 2nd  semester of 2016/2017. The data collected through observations and test were analyzed descriptively. The results show: (1) entrepreneurial charac- ter traints reached the score of 3.12 (initial development), (2) science process skill 3.00 (good), and (3) high-order thinking skills 66.24 (more than sufficient). It can be concluded that the application of pro- ject-based learning is effective in instilling entrepreneurial character traits, science process skills, and high-order thinking skills of the students.

Abstrak: Pembelajaran Berbasis Proyek dalam Menanamkan Karakter Kewirausahaan, Keterampilan Proses Sains dan Keterampilan Berpikir Tingkat Tinggi Mahasiswa. Penelitian in bertujuan untuk menge- tahui keefektifan penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek dalam menanamkan karakter ke- wirausahaan, keterampilan proses sains, dan keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi pada mahasiswa pro- gram studi pendidikan biologi FKIP UMSurabaya. Penelitian telah dilakukan menggunakan metode pra-eksperimen desain one-shot case study pada perkuliahan biokimia pangan dan gizi pada semester genap Tahun Akademik 2016/2017 Prodi Pendidikan Biologi FKIP UMSurabaya. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode observasi dan tes. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menun- jukkan bahwa: (1)  tingkat karakter kewirausahaan mencapai nilai 3,12  termasuk kategori mulai berkembang , (2) keterampilan proses sain mencapai nilai 3,00 termasuk kategori baik, dan (3) kete- rampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi mencapai nilai 66,24 termasuk kategori lebih dari cukup. Jadi penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek cukup efektif dalam menanamkan karakter kewirausahaan, kete- rampilan proses sains, dan keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi pada mahasiswa.
